the truth about proklean

I am considering buying ProKlean but wondered if it really works. Has anyone with experience with ProKlean? I found the following feedback on complaints.com:

Shoppers come to us and rely on the technical performance of our specialized products, not our personalities. There are tons of companies out there that will sweet talk you and send you some ineffective product. We are not auditioning for any congeniality contest.

If a customers approaches us in a friendly and respectful manner they are greeted in kind. If they are rude, pushy, sarcastic or disingenuous we may elect not to do business with them.

We believe we can easily compete based strictly on the performance of our products.

If a customer calls and is polite, respectful and has a bona fide question we will be happy to address their concerns. However after eighteen years we have amassed a significant amount of knowledge on how to determined if there is a legitimate issue or if somebody is merely trying to obtain leverage.

Patricia actually purchased two bottles of the Super Dog Urine Remover. The first we heard about Patricia's plight is when she telephoned us and asked us why we had overcharged her on the shipping.

Please click here www.iloveproklean.com/shippingandhandling.html to review our Shipping and Handling policy. Take a moment to thoughtfully review it. We believe it is fair and self explanatory. Patricia was not overcharged.

Patricia claims that the product was so so. We suggest you review the follow feedback from other customers that have purchased exactly the same product. How can Patricia’s experience vary so widely from other users of the same product?

We don’t know but since she never notified us about a product failure and she never factually returned the products we will never know.

Readers should review the follow comments from other Super Dog Urine Remover customers. Our products are very simple to use. After reviewing these comments you will be in a much better position to judge what actually happened in Patricia’s case.

I applied the super dog urine remover as per the online instructions. I used a black light to locate the spots. The urine that was on the leather sofa is completely gone and does not show up under black light. The leather couch is 100% odor free and passes the black light test!

HI Cathy,

Glad you asked me, because I LOVE it!! My mom passed away of brain tumor cancer 1 yr. ago, and I had to move in with my dad(78) to help him. They never had animals here, and my mom was fussy about her carpets, old or new.

I like to entertain, and cook for friends, and someone is always coming for a meal. The large rug my dog lies on is near the door, where everyone comes in. She is old, and has incontinence problems, and the smell is so overbearing throughout this small house. (I also have asthma, and really notice bad smells).

I use a steam vac constantly, but everything I have tried does not remove the odor at all. (have tried at least one dozen different cleaners) I was so desperate when I saw your site, but was still skeptical. (they all say they remove deep down odors).

Anyway, my budget right now is tight, and I was wondering if you ever sell it in gallon size? I would love to buy a larger amount, as I plan to use it frequently. Either way, I will be getting more when I can, as I don't want to be without it. We have many old rugs here, and they could all use that product!

Thanks for helping all of us that are tired of wasting money on products that don't work! Take care, Bev

It is really a great product. I bought another solution (Simple Solutions) at the same time and ProKlean got the smell out much better. I will definitely be ordering more when I need it!!!

ProKlean was a lifesaver. It arrived within a few days which was important because my dog had pee'd on my bed...which meant it was seeping into my brand new expensive mattress. Everyone I asked and every website I researched basically said there was no way to get that kind of stain/stink out of a mattress. I used ProKlean - followed the directions carefully - a few times and the stain and the stink came out....completely. Thank you!

Pro-Klean is a product to remove dog urine form carpets. It is $17.00 per 16 oz. bottle and $6.50 shipping per bottle so each bottle ends up being $23.50 to get it.

I ordered two bottles that came in the same package and was still charged 13.00 when the shipping label stated 6.50. It worked somewhat but not completely as they claim so I emailed them since that is the only way you can reach this company to see how much more I needed or if I should now shampoo the carpets.

Of course you are not aware of that when you order. Instead of giving me the answers that I need to order more they were flippant and rude. See the exchange of emails that we had this morning (scroll all the way down and work back up).

No, you are not correct I asked about the shipping charges but there were 3 questions prior to the only one that you responded to.

Comments like complained, after all, we know a lot more about this problem than you do... are insulting. Is this a mom and pop shop or a large company that has standards for doing business.

As a Sales Manager of a Fortune 500 company and directly responsible for over 650 Sales and Customer Service reps., I have never encountered this type of treatment from someone that wants my business. I am just sitting here in amazement and not sure what to do next.

Patty, you complained about the shipping charges, correct?

Secondly, we have no way of knowing how much more product you will need because we have no way of knowing exactly what your circumstances are.

We are happy that you like the products, after all they are considered the best available at any price.

It is urine pooling, we know a lot more about this problem then you do.

Have a nice day.

Cathy,

I am very frustrated with your customer service skills from both of the emails that you have sent to me.

First of all if you would have taken the time to read and respond instead of reacting ...I did not ever ask for a refund! I am quite satisfied.

Second of all you never answered my questions regarding how much more of your product to buy to resolve the urine smell. In other words I was looking for customer service not flippant and snotty emails. I am assuming now after your emails that this is not a large company and you are possibly the only one there.

I was asking you as the professional of your products how much more do I need to buy. I just didn't want to continue to reorder if I could get it all at once. And I thought why not to ask if you had discounts on any quantity purchases, as other companies do offer that.

Third of all it is not pooling, the dog spots are extremely small as they are very small dogs but then again I never asked for a refund so your comments were unprofessional. The way you handle your customers in a derogatory manner is insulting. Is this why it is so hard to reach anyone with your company?

I am a loyal customer if I get a great product and great customer service. And am shocked at the way you are treating me the customer that was just looking for an answer on how much do I need to resolve the problem?

Hi, please click here http://www.iloveproklean.com/urinepooling.html for a description on Urine Pooling.

What you described http://www.iloveproklean.com/moneybackguarantee.html is not covered by the guaranteed.

Our current shipping and handling charge is on a per product basis. We believe this is clear on the ordering system.

The products were strapped together to ensure that they would not get lost or separated.

We recently purchased a 2 year old home that had 3 small dogs (6-8 pounds ea) in it, from the previous owners. After moving in we discovered dog urine smells in various areas of the home. In order to locate the areas that had been soiled I used the nose to the carpet method.

I determined that I would need 2 bottles of the Super Dog Urine Remover and ordered them directly from you. I followed the directions on your website. After now using both bottles there is still urine smell.

Question: What to do to get the rest of the smell gone. I sprayed and blotted the 23 spots, throughout the house.

Question: Do I need more Super Dog Urine Remover? If yes, how much and do you have larger bottles or multiple bottle discounts?

Question: Should I have the carpet professionally shampooed/steam cleaned now?

Question: Why did I pay $13.00 for shipping on the 2 bottles that I ordered when the ACTUAL shipping was $6.50 for both bottles?

It does not say $13.00 for shipping & handling on your receipt below, just shipping. Therefore I believe that I am owed the $6.50 in excess shipping your company charged.

Maybe it was a oversight as both bottles where boxed separately then strapping taped together for the $6.50 priority mail charge.

Thank you for your help!

NEVER do business with PROKLEAN....they ripped off my friend and have poor reviews when you search their name on Google. They are a very poor company that sells a product that does not work and they will never give you your money back. They are horribly disrespectful to customers and sell a product that is a rip-0ff. Go elsewhere for urine removal products. Any good pet store will have far superior products that outstrip this company's product and business behavior. This company is just rotten to customers and you can read about how they treat people just by their reviews. Please search them out before you even consider buying their product....they are a bogus company.
